Integrated LED downlights are an all in one product. They contain the LED light source, an LED driver and the casing, in one neat unit.
A GU10 downlight is made up of two separate items. A downlight casing and a GU10 LED. GU10 downlights don't need an LED driver as its built into the GU10 LED.
Integrated LED downlights are technologically more advanced. As the downlight casing is built around the LED light source, it provides an optimum operating performance. Allowing the LED to run at its brightest light output, while being thermally controlled by the structure of the downlight.
One downside of integrated downlights is that the LED can't be changed, you have to replace the entire downlight. This can often involve re-wiring.
